Espacios amaziges [Amazigh Spaces] ⵉⴽⴰⵍⵍⵏ ⵏ ⵉⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵏ presents a view of the history and culture of North African native populations (Berbers/Amazighs) with a focus on their relationship with the territory. It is a photography exhibition of sixteen natural sites and landscapes in Morocco, which leads visitors through various themes. In addition, there are two images related to the Berber past of the place where they are exhibited and which, in the case of Granada, are dedicated to the Zirids, Sinhaja Berbers.
From the images, and using QR codes, visitors can access web content that provides information with visual displays about these peoples, and their relationship with the environment, from the agadirs to traditional water management and legends linked to the landscape.
The contents of this website have been written by members of the coordinated research project MAGNA II. Transits and transformations in Maghrebian space and population, whose names appear in the signature of each section. Each text is also accompanied by links to specialised bibliography, if desired.
